SpaceX to Acquire 130,000 Acres of Coastal Marshland in Louisiana
SpaceX and the state of Louisiana are near an agreement for the rocket company to acquire roughly 130,000 acres of marshland along the Gulf of Mexico. The site, known as Pecan Island, covers an 18-mile coastal stretch southwest of Lafayette.
